The Rochester Knighthawks are excited to continue their "We Got Your Back" Anti-Bullying Program for the 2016 NLL Season with the support of Wellington Steele and Associates. Through the 2015 season, the Knighthawks players and staff have reached over 15,000 kids.

The Knighthawks originally signed an anti-bullying pledge to kick off their 2012 season. The “We Got Your Back” program, which was founded by Hurricanes Lacrosse, was supported by the players and the entire staff. In October of 2012, the World Champions took the next step by bringing the anti-bullying message to local school children.

Rochester native and forward Joe Walters serves as the spokesperson for the program, which includes his personal bullying story. The presentation features the signs of bullying, how to handle bullying situations, and where to go for help. It is estimated that about 30 percent of students in sixth through 10th grade in the United States are involved in bullying on a regular basis.

All requests for player(s), dance team or staff appearances must be submitted in writing at least two weeks in advance of your event. Approved appearances will receive a confirmation telephone call from a representative from the Knighthawks prior to the event.
