(June 18, 2012)… The last time Jordan Hall was in Rochester, he was celebrating the Champion’s Cup at The Blue Cross Arena. He was making steady progress with his rehabilitation, which was evident by his ability to walk without crutches.
On Saturday, Hall and goalie Matt Vinc relaxed at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Md. Hall, a resident of nearby Baltimore, was watching his summer team, the Hamilton Nationals, take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks in Major League Lacrosse action.
Being one month removed from winning his first NLL title, Hall was still eager to reflect on the 2012 NLL season when he stopped to chat with Knighthawks Broadcaster Craig Rybczynski after the game.
“I am nine weeks out. I started doing elliptical and riding the bike every day. It looks a little swollen still, but that’s normal,” said Hall. “As far as I know, I am ahead of schedule and the rehab is coming along nicely.”
Hall was injured on March 24th in a game against the Toronto Rock. The versatile player was playing both ends of the floor toward the latter half of the season. He finished 2012 with seven goals, 24 assists and 61 loose balls in 10 games. Although undergoing knee surgery, Hall was able to attend the East Division Semifinals and the Champion’s Cup Finals.T
he full-time Reebok rep has dedicated himself to his job and training for the 2013 seasons. His injury has also sidelined him from the Nationals (MLL) and New Westminster Salmonbellies of the Western Lacrosse Association.
Hall plans on returning to the Knighthawks to help the team defends its title. He described winning the Cup and the fire that he has to get back and win a second. Here is the interview from Saturday night:
