He enters his 13th season in the NLL and fifth with the Knighthawks… Won his second NLL Championship in 2012… All-time penalty minutes leader in NLL history (621)… Sixth in team history with 217 penalty minutes in just four seasons… Set a Knighthawks record with 83 PIMs in 2009… Arrived in Rochester in 2009 after spending a five-year career with the Buffalo Bandits… Holds the Bandits’ single-season record for penalty minutes with 70 (2008)… Appeared in 16 games for the Bandits, earning nine points (2+7) en route to the 2008 Champion’s Cup… Had his best season with Bandits in 2007, capturing a career best 10 points (4+6) while adding 66 PIM… In 63 career games with the Bandits, Laverty registered 31 points (8+23) and 233 PIM… He was acquired by Boston in the 2008 Expansion Draft… Laverty was originally obtained by Buffalo prior to the 2004 season in a trade with Calgary for Craig Gelsvik… In the summer, he plays for the Peterborough Lakers of the Ontario Lacrosse Association Major Series… Won Mann Cups with the Lakers in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2010.
